Our Business Law lecture was finally about to end when suddenly Riya's face turned pale beside me. At first I thought she was just bored to death because honestly even I was fighting for survival in that lecture.
But then she suddenly grabbed my arm tightly.
"Vidhi..." she whispered painfully. "Cramps..."
I immediately straightened ,within minutes her condition got worse.
Riya had PCOS, and whenever her periods started the pain became unbearable . Nandani instantly looked worried too.
"Are you okay?"
Riya shook her head weakly.
"No... this one's bad."
I quickly asked permission from the professor, and thankfully he allowed us to leave after seeing her condition.
The moment we stepped outside the class, Riya groaned "I hate being a woman."
Nandani nodded seriously."Me too."
I held Riya carefully while walking.
"Me three."
We first decided to go to the university hospital because obviously it was inside campus and closer. But the moment we reached there our luck laughed in our faces.
Some wiring and maintenance work was going on, and half the section was temporarily closed.
I stared at the chaos in disbelief.
"Wah," I deadpanned. "kya timing h."
Nandani sighed. "At this point i m damn sure universe personally hates us."
So finally we decided to go to Sakshi Hospital instead since it was ridiculously close to the university.
Like genuinely close.
The kind of close where your mother sends you to the general store and says "Bas saamne hi toh hai."
After somehow dragging half-dead Riya there, the doctor finally checked her and prescribed medicines.
"Take rest," the doctor advised. "And don't ignore the pain repeatedly."
Riya nodded weakly while looking emotionally betrayed by life.
I took the prescription from the doctor and headed toward the medical store inside the hospital while Riya and Nandani waited outside near the seating area.
As I walked through the hospital corridor, the smell of antiseptic instantly hit me.I reached the medical counter and handed over the prescription.
The pharmacist started preparing the medicines while I leaned lightly against the counter and checked my phone absentmindedly.
Okay so while heading back toward my girlies with the medicine packet in my hand, I suddenly heard noises coming from one of the hospital rooms.
Not normal noises, nah not the doctor-patient one it's more like someone was literally getting beaten up.
Now any normal, sane, intelligent person would walk away.
But unfortunately main normal thodi hoon. Mujhme toh chull bohot hai ,so obviously I stopped there and slowly, quietly, I turned toward the room and walked at this moment i knew that i fu*ked up please don't try this stunt in real life because you guys have brain which i don't.
The door wasn't fully closed. There was this small rectangular glass gap on the door like if someone stood outside, only their eyes would be visible to the person who is inside.
And since Bhagwan clearly loves putting me in dangerous situations i looked.
Worst decision of my life.Inside a man was beating the hell out of a doctor Fu€k bro Terrifying beating.
The doctor was already half-dead on the floor, blood near his mouth while another man held him by the collar.
I swear in another five minutes and bro would personally meet Yamraj with Chitragupt standing beside him holding attendance sheets.
My breath got stuck , gulping my saliva i grab the knob to open the door and save that doctor out of kindness before i twist the knob my brain shout at me :-

Yeah right No need to become Jhansi Ki Rani here not at this time because if something happened I was 110% sure nobody would even find my full body. People would definitely discover chopped pieces of me floating somewhere in Ganga.
So yeah no need to help ......
Now u this my phuti kismat that i accidentally slipped the packet of medicine which created noise i looked down at the packet cursing my whole existence right now.
I looked up and my eyes met a pair hazel green eye his eyes were already staring at mine his state was enough to dig out my soul from my body .
I shift my eye from his eyes to his face and I instantly froze 'Wait...'
'Isn't he our CM?'
My brain instant shout ' have you ever see till now our new CM 's face or his photo so not all don't assume this bullshit to create lot problem.
The man he was beating got thrown to the floor violently before he started walking toward the door.
TOWARD THE DOOR.

And finally for once in life I listened to my brain. But now Inside the room, every single man was looking towards the door.
I quickly grabbed the medicines from the floor and RAN For. My. Life.
My braid almost slapped my own face while running through the corridor.
Behind me I heard the door open.
"Stop her."that deep voice cold enough to freeze blood.
TEARS ALMOST CAME OUT.
"Hare krishna hare krishna krishna krishna hare hare ," I whispered while speed-walking-running-jogging like an Olympic athlete. "Aaj bacha lo bas kanha ji bas aaj aaj ke baad pakka aesi harkat nhi karungi."
I swear to my entire jhumka collection I had never run that fast in my life not even during exams Milkha Singh ko fail kiya h Maine aaj.
My heartbeat was literally louder than my footsteps while I clutched the medicine packet like it contained national secrets.
"Calm down, Vidhi," I whispered to myself while turning the corridor corner quickly. "Maybe they didn't see your face properly."
Then my own brain replied 'Stupid. You literally made eye contact with him.'
I immediately lowered my face and started walking normally like a civilized citizen who definitely did not witness attempted murder five seconds ago.
Act fool
ACT fu*king fool.
Unfortunately my body forgot how to function normally my anxiety is on its peak right now.
I finally spotted Riya and Nandani sitting near the waiting area.The moment Riya saw my face, she frowned.
"Why do you look like you saw a ghost?"
I opened my mouth then closed it.
Because HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO FREAKING EXPLAIN THIS?
"Nothing," I lied badly. "Let's just leave."
Nandani narrowed her eyes instantly.
"Vidhi."
"Hmm?"
"You only speak this fast when either-"She started counting on fingers. "you broke something, fought with someone, or accidentally created chaos."
I grabbed Riya's arm and pulled her "Chalo."
Riya blinked."Medicine toh le aayi h na ?"
"Yes."
"Then why are you walking like CID is after you?"
BECAUSE THE THAT MAN MIGHT ACTUALLY BE AFTER ME.
But I kept that information respectfully inside my heart.
We started walking toward the exit when suddenly multiple security guards rushed past the corridor.

And I have no mercy for such people. My mother taught me to forgive but also taught me to give a painful death to scoundrels like these.
I grabbed his collar and punched him again and again the blood spilled from his mouth while he cried and begged on the floor.
Pathetic.
"You were earning money from ruining lives?" I asked coldly, gripping his jaw tightly. "Now pray someone earns enough to save yours."
He cried harder i hate this drama " give me that injection" I asked Rudra for that solution which prepared as test in my secret lab from this solution now soon his body will be paralyzed and his body cell started burst one by one and within 10 min he will die the most painful death .
As i was about to take the injection from Rudra suddenly a sound echoed outside the room like something dropping but there is no one allowed right now.
My gaze lifted instantly toward the door and then everything stopped my one hand stuck in air and other still holding that bast*rd by his collar
All i can see was just a pair of eyes visible through the glass gap on the door.
Her Dark brown pupils Deep and Quiet.The kind of eyes that make even devils forget the taste of sin and I had forgotten that in this moment.
For one damn second my heartbeat actually stopped everything around me starts fading all I could see were those terrified brown eyes staring back at me.
Damn too pure and innocent eyes at the same time too bold to stare back even after being in fear.
FU€K.
Suddenly I noticed that she was about to leave. I jerked the doctor roughly onto the floor and started walking fastly towards the door.
The moment I opened the door, she was gone, but her scent lingered. I remembered that scent again, the same scent I'd had when I'd found that jhumka at the orphanage.
My jaw tightened.
The unfinished thought stayed inside my head then I turned my head towards the corridor and saw her running quickly with medicines in her hand.
Exactly like a frightened deer escaping from a predator.
A faint smirk appeared on my lips unconsciously" a little deer ".
I looked toward my guards without taking my eyes off her retreating figure "Stop her."
To make her mouth shut after all what see show is important I was waiting for my guard to bring that girl , they come back and one of them said " Sorry sir we were not able to caught her she run away"
I poke my tongue on my cheeks " u all are useless get lost before i make this day as your last day on earth ".
